Over the course of 8 weekly sessions, participants will delve into the core principles of painting, covering essential topics such as light, shape, form, value, and color theory. Through a series of exercises and demonstrations, participants will learn how to create dynamic compositions, achieve realistic perspective, master the interplay of light and shadow, and understand the complexities of color mixing.

As we draw, what is happening?…What can happen?
This workshop explores drawing’s potential: How can we use drawing to perceive the world around us? To envision new ideas? To make our ideas real?
Through conversation and guided drawing experiments, we will connect with the basic tools and concepts of drawing. This workshop is for people who have never drawn before, people who draw every day, and everyone in between.
All drawing materials, and light refreshments will be provided.
Course Fee: $40 ($20 for students)
